To find : True / False

Solution:

(i) On a number line, all the numbers to the right of zero are positive - TRUE

(ii) Rational number  -7/-19 lies to the left of zero on the number line.  FALSE

 -7/-19 = 7/19  lies on Right   of Zero

(iii) On a number line, numbers become progressively larger as we move away from zero.  FALSE

Only Magnitude increases as we move away from Zero not number

as -ve numbers are smaller than zero   so they become lesser while moving away from zero

(iv) Rational numbers   2/3 and -2/3  are at equal distance from zero   TRUE

(v) On a number line, number lying left to a given number is greater. FALSE

2 lies to left of 4   but  2 is not grater than 4

On a number line, number lying Right  to a given number is greater
