Diffraction

Light can be used to emit electrons from the surface of a solid. This process is called the photoelectric effect. Photoelectric effect can be better explained with particle nature of light.

With the Wave theory, the phenomena of Reflection, Refraction, and Interference of light can be explained, but it fails to explain Diffraction and Polarization of light.
