Let the total marks be X.
Pass percentage be P.
Therefore, (273/X)*100=P+5.
Generally pass percentage=35( without it is impossible to find roots for single equation two variables.)
=>(273/X)*100=40.
=>X=(273*100)/40.
=>X=682.5
=>(312/682.5)*100=45.71
=>approximately =45.
=> therefore she got 10% more than the pass percentage.
