They started the work together but after 8 days
Vikram left the work and remaining work wa
completed by Vinay. If Vinay can do the whole work
alone in 30 days, then in how many days could he do
the remaining work?​

Vinay can do the whole work alone in 30 days

so Vinay's one day work =  1/30

They worked together for 8 days so

work done by them in 8 days =  1/20* 8

                                                 =  2/5 unit

remaining work =  1 - 2/5 =  3/5

Remaining work done by Vinay =  Remaining work/efficiency

                                                     =  3/5÷1/30

                                                     =  3/5*30

                                                     = 18 days
