Village fair.

The village fair is always held in an open place in our village, on the eve of Navratri. This year it is being organised near a temple in honour of the Goddess Durga. Every year the fair is visited by people from far and nearby towns. Shopkeepers display their stalls of toys, bangles and sweets.

Chief attractions in this village fair are wall decorations, that are made of recyclable material. Various games and swings are also available to be played with, along with a merry-go-round.

Most male and few females eagerly wait for a wrestling match, where the winner gets the prize of about Rs. 10,000.
