Answer: hence weight of first piece =  99g

weight of second piece = 106g

weight of third piece=  95g

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : weight of total cake = 300g

To find : weight of each piece of cake

Let the weight of first piece be x (equation 1)

Then weight of second piece of the cake = x +7 (equation 2)

as it is given that the first piece is lighter

Then weight of third piece = x - 4 (equation 3)

as it is given that first piece was heavier

Weight of total cake = 300g

Hence to find the weight of all pieces of cake we will add equation 1 , 2 and 3.

x + ( x+7) + (x-4) = 300

x + x + 7 + x - 4 = 300

3x + 3 = 300

3x = 300 - 3

3x = 297

x = 297/3

x =99

hence weight of first piece = x= 99g

weight of second piece = x+7= 106g

weight of third piece= x-4 = 95g
