he weighed the first piece he found that it was 7g lighter
than the second piece and 4g.heavier than the third piece.
If the whole pizza weighed 300g. How much did each of
the three pieces weight

Let the wight of the third piece be x.

Then the weight of the first piece =  x + 4 g

Then the weight of the second piece =  x + 4 g + 7 g

Total weight of pizza = sum of weights of the three pieces

⇒300 g = x + x + 4 g + x + 4 g + 7 g

⇒300 g = 3x + 15 g

⇒3x = 300 g - 15 g = 285 g

⇒x = 285 g/ 3 = 95 g

Weight of third piece = x = 95 g

Weight of first piece = x + 4 g = 95 g + 4 g = 99 g

Weight of second piece = x + 4 g + 7 g = 95 g + 4 g + 7 g = 106 g
