Vinay bought a pizza and cut it into three pieces. When
he weighed the first piece he found that it was 7g lighter
than the second piece and 4g. heavier than the third piece.
If the whole pizza weighed 300g. How much did each of
the three pieces weigh?
(Hint: weight of first piece be 'x' then weight of second
piece is 'x +7', weight of the third piece is ‘x - 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Weight of First Piece be 'x'

Weight of Second Piece be'x+7'

Weight of Third Piece be 'x-4

Weight of whole Pizza is 300 g

x+x+7+x-4=300

3x+7-4=300

3x+3=300

3x=300-3

3x=297

X=297/3

X=99 g

Therefore;Weight of First piece=99 grams

Weight of Second Piece='x+7'=99+7=106 grams

Weight Of Third Piece ='x-4'=99-4=95 grams
