Vinay can weed the whole garden in 1 day and 12 hours.

Given, Vinay can complete 2/3 rd of the garden in 1 day.

We can find the time taken to complete the entire garden by simple unitary method.

From common sense we can deduce that the time taken to complete the entire garden would definitely be more than the time taken to complete 2/3 rd.

So, from unitary method, time taken to complete the entire garden will be:

(1 ÷ 2/3) days = 3/2 days = 1.5 days

or in 1 day 12 hours, as 1 day equals 24 hours and 0.5 day would equal 12 hours.
