Solution:-

Let's,

Unknown side be 'x'

W.K.T

Ratios of Perimeters of two similar triangles are equal to the ratios of their corresponding sides.

$→\:{\sf{30:20 = 12:x}}$

$→\;{\sf{3:2 = 12:x}}$

$→\;{\sf{3x = 2×12}}$

$→\;{\sf{x = \frac{24}{3}}}$

$→\;{\bf{x = 8cm}}$
