Vinnie buys a sewing machine for RS 3725 and spends RS 275 on repairs.she then sells it for RS 5000/-.find the percentage on buying price she spends on repair and the percentage on her selling price that she spends after repair

Total cost price is = Rs.4000

Selling price is=Rs.5000

Profit = Rs5000-4000=Rs.1000

i) Percentage on buying = 1000/3725 x 100=26.845%

                                                                       26.85% (approx.)

ii) percentage on SP after repair = 1000/4000 x 100=25%
