Vipin invested 3 X at a simple interest for 4 years at a certain rate percent p.a. Afer 4 years he got # 160 as
simple interest. Again, he invested 3X at the same rate of simple interest for 6 years. Find the amount of
interest received on 3X after 6 years.​

Answer :-

Case 1) :-

  • P = 3x
  • T = 4 years
  • SI = Rs.160 .

so,

→ R = (SI * 100) / (P * T) = (160 * 100) / 3x * 4 = (4000/3x)%

Case 2) :-

→ SI = (P * R * T)/100 = [3x * (4000/3x) * 6 ] / 100 = Rs.240 . (Ans.)
