a)Prophase is the first stage of mitosis.
b)Prophage is bacteriophage genetic material that can be incorporated into the genome of a bacterium and is able, especially when activated, to produce phages.(answer)
c)Bacteriophage- is a virus that is able to infect a bacteria and replicate in it.
d)Plasmid- is a circular, small, double stranded DNA that is different from the chromosomal DNA.

Answer:  The virus genome incorporated into the host DNA is called as Prophage.

Prophage is formed in case of lysogenic cycyle of viral reproduction. For example- Bacteriophage ( a virus that infects bacteria for repoduction) integrates its genome in the bacterial genome and forms prophage, which replicates when the host DNA ( that is bacterial DNA) replicates.

On the other hand, prophase is the first stage of cellular division in both mitosis as well as meiosis.

Plasmid is an extrachromosomal DNA that is small, double stranded molecule and capable of replication by its own. It has great significance in recombinant DNA technology ( as it is used for cloning purpose).
