Yes,virus is different from other micro- organisms because virus grow only inside the body or cells of animals,whereas other micro-organisms can grow by itself ,viruses also are in small size as compared to other micro-organisms,even the biggest virus is smaller than the size of smallest bacterium,you can make medicine related to other micro-organisms disease or can do treatments also but u can never make a medicine on virus disease you only can cure that diseases.
