Hey there !!

Viruses did not find a place in the biological classification because:

• They are connecting link between

living and non living. They are non

living outside the host cell but living

inside the host cell.

• They are non - cellular organisms .

Instead they have an inert crystalline

structure .

• They lack cell organelles. Virus infact

has a simple structure, it has no

internal cellular structure, no cell wall

or cell membrane, just the protein

coat that holds the string of nucleic

acid.
