Vishwanath borrowed money= Rs 500

Time= 6 months = 6/12= 1/2

SI= Amount-Principal = Rs 12

SI= P×R×T/100

12=500×R×1/2/100

12=5R/2

24=5R

R=24/5

R=4.8%
