I have already done so ( except the information part). When I was taking up Electrocardiogram, they placed electrodes on my body right on the abdomen (Only now I know those were electrodes). It felt...weird.They had some wires connected to those electrodes which were connected to an instrument.

The process of using electrocardiograms to measure the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes which are placed on the skin is called  electrocardiography. I don't remember exactly what they did to me, but for your convenience I have taken up the info from the net:

The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a diagnostic tool that is routinely used to assess the electrical and muscular functions of the heart. The heart is a two stage electrical pump and the heart's electrical activity can be measured by electrodes placed on the skin.In a conventional 12-lead ECG, ten electrodes are placed on the patient's limbs and on the surface of the chest. The overall magnitude of the heart's electrical potential is then measured from twelve different angles ("leads") and is recorded over a period of time (usually ten seconds). In this way, the overall magnitude and direction of the heart's electrical depolarization is captured at each moment throughout the cardiac cycle.[5] The graph of voltage versus time produced by this non-invasive medical procedure is an electrocardiogram.

Non-invasive: A medical procedure is said to be non-invasive if there is no break in the skin,no contact with the mucosa, or skin break, or internal body cavity beyond a natural or artificial body orifice( an opening in the body).

I have made it easier for you...

Mark it as the brainliest!!!
