1) Drip of glucose is needed when the person is

● DEHYDRATED

●HE/SHE IS NOT ABLE TO EAT THE FOOD ORALLY

●WHEN A PERSON GETS INJURED AND HAS HEAVY BLOOD LOSS .

2) A patient needs to be given drips until his/her digestion becomes healthy again and the he/sheis able to digest food his/her own completely .

3)Glucose helps the patients recover by this process :

● GLUCOSE MIXES IN BLOOD INSTANTANEOUSLY AS IT IS IN THE SOLUBLE FORM .

●Since , in patients breakage of food is slowed down due to illness .

●Hence , glucose is given because it releases INSTANT ENERGY.
