Mention the fact that as the developing world gets richer, dietary patterns are changing. People are beginning to eat more of protein. As a result, with an increase in demand for protein, the price of pulses are likely to go up. However, there are 2 major challenges in the profession.
1. In areas that are not irrigated, farming would be subject to the vagaries of nature.
