The importance of light, water and carbon dioxide to grow plants in green house is described as followed:

Light: Generally greenhouses are built by large-sides facing south-east to south-west to consume maximum sunlight. Greenhouses are covered with glass or plastic which are transparent to enter light. The things in greenhouse are painted effectively to reflect the max part of the sunlight.

Water:  Capillary mats are used to water the plants, which are placed under plant pots. It reduces evaporation. Plastic liners collect the excess water.

Carbon dioxide:  Fans are set horizontally which allow air to press closer to the foliage. The carbon dioxide make result in large leaves, stems and allow flowering and fruiting early.
