A visit to a new place is pleasant to all. l enjoyed a wonderful place on the 1st October last. ln a nice evening I started for Murshidabad with my parents. My elder sister was also with us. We set out from Sealdah by the Lalgola Express which reached Murshidabad next morning. It was a pleasant journey indeed. I saw stations, towns, villages and green fields on both sides of the railway line. Murshidabad is a place of historical interest. We saw the sights seeing place by tanga, a horse driven cart.At first we visited the Hazarduari. It is a nice palace with many real and some false doors. We saw the weapons used by the nawabs of Bengal. We saw so many precious paintings there .We visited Motijhill, a big tank. We saw Khasbag where Alibordy lay buried. We went to the Katra moque It is now in ruins. Time has destroyed it. Lastly we saw the tomb of Shiraj on the otherside of the bhagirathi. The historical places took me to the days of Muslim rules in India. I enjoyed the visit to this place very much.
