Function of management are as follows:

Planning- This function of management is about setting up of organizational objectives and determining the action plan to achieve those objectives.

Organizing- This is the function of management where the management is engaged in the process of assembling various resources like finance.

Staffing- The managerial function which includes recruitment, selection, training, development of personnel.

Directing- Directing is a function of management which includes the process of leading, guiding, instructing  and motivating the human resource  to perform organizational tasks.

Controlling- In this function the management compare the actual performance with the planned performance and takes corrective actions if needed.

So, upon my visit to a nearby organization i found out that the management was doing above mentioned functions
