In olden times..the marriages were had very early as before the children’s childhood had crossed ,most of the women's in olden times were usually uneducated or illiterate. The children's were forced to marry if they did not want marry then also they are forced!.This was very terrible and bad that the children's had marriages before their adult’s age to know and understand, and was called child marriage. In some places where the husband was rich and had money they had more than one wife if they like ..this made the women helpless and disturbed them a lot. This was also too terrible, and was called polygamy. And in ancient India there was a ritual of Sati in which the husband or the wife had to jump in the alive! if any other of them is died. This was a very many die practice which people practiced in olden times,it ended the life of so many people and suffered both the men and the women.
But Now,Our Constitution has banned all these things and has made all these practices illegal and punishable in accordance with the law.
