Protecting child rights is preventing or responding to violence,exploitation and abuse against children.                                                                          Children not subjected to children protection are at risk of death,poor physical and mental health,HIV/AIDS infection,educational problems and poor parental care  skill.

Some of the essentials that i observed from the local school that are to be taken are;

Strengthening government commitment and capacity to protect children rights.

Establishment of adequate legislation to address harmful practices.

Reducing the number of children separated from their parents.
