Last week i went to Agra with my parents and was amazed to see the historical structures there , especially the grand taj mahal . Built by Shah Jahan for his love , Mumtaz mahal , this magnificent monument is a symbol of love and beauty. I went to visit the taj mahal in the evening because it is said that the mahal looks attractive under the moonlight .It was crowded , yes and the hustle and bustle pushed us forward , fortunately we could still absorb the wonders around us .The intricate details and carvings made us marvel and the grand domes left us wide-eyed . I was mesmerised the moment i saw this structure and learnt its amazing history. It deserved to be one of the seven wonders of the world and i was very proud of it .

I am so excited to tell you about my visit to some historical places with my parents last week. Delhi has a rich historical background. It was named “Indraprastha” by Pandavas and remained the capital of Hindu kingdoms for thousands of years. The Muslim kings also made it their capital. It has many historical buildings such as Humayun’s tomb, Qutab Minar, tombs of Safdarjang and Nizamuddin, The Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan etc. Apart from the historical monuments, it has the offices of the embassies, high commissions, trading firms and many other organisations. Delhi, indeed, is a treasure-chest of antiquity and heart of India. India is a land of rich history, culture, heritage which is largely depicted in its archietecture.
Recently, I visited one of the grandeur cities of India, Agra, and was amazed to see its splendour, glory. The glory of Taj Mahal, Red Fort was a sure treat to the eye.The city attracts millions of toursits evey year making India's name a byword at the Global level. Taj Mahal it is one of the finest architectural pieces gingerly crafted to represent a unique blend of Persian, Islamin and Indian styles. At last I would just say that it was an amazing experience.
