Today I went to a vegetable market with my mother int he morning. My mother usually buys all kinds of different vegetables but the most recurring items are onions, tomato and potato. My favorite among-st these is potato. The first chosen item would be onion, the second potato and the third tomato.

The calculation is as follows:

Price of onion=  10$/kg

Price of tomato= 20$/kg

Price of potato= 30$/kg

1. 1/2 x 10 = 5$

2. 3  x 30 = 90$

3. 1/2 x 20 = 10$

Total cost of buying 3 items is = 105$
