There will be a difference in colour of the leaves in the two observations. When the plant is kept in shade, it will not get enough sunlight. Sunlight is needed for the plants to prepare food by photosynthesis. So, due to the absence of food, there will be absence of chlorophyll also which will cause the leaves to fade. This is because chlorophyll is responsible for the green colour of the leaves.On the other hand, if the plant is kept in sunlight, there will be generation of chlorophyll. So, all the requirements for photosynthesis will be acquired and the plant will be able to prepare its own food. It will cause the leaves to remain green due to fulfillment of all the needs.
