Many of us never cared about the pollution we cause. Let's have a journey to a petrol for pollution check -

Me- Sir good morning I wanted to ask you some questions. Can I?
Person- Good morning, yes sure you can ask.
Me- can u pls tell how many vehicles you check every month in pollution check?
Person- Normally every month we check atleast 300-350 vehicles. These are enough for one month and we should minimise the use of cars, activa, etc for nearby places. We can use cycles, or we can move by foot to nearby places. As that will decrease the pollution level and will make our environment clean and green.
Me- Yes, u are right. I will surely keep that in my mind and will advice others too. Ok now can u tell how much time you consume to check one vehicle?
Person- Yes, of course I can tell. We take atleast 2-3 minutes to check one vehicle. This is the minimum and maximum time we take.
Me- Oh, I see. Thanks for telling. Please tell me the procedure of checking a vehicle?
Person- Your welcome. The process is as follows-
<>Take a vehicle
<>We then put our machines into the silencer of the vehicle.
<>Then we start the Machine
<>Then the report is taken by the computers we have.
Me- Oh great, small and simple process. Ok as we know that pollution is increasing. So while you check the vehicle if the emitted gases are more than the permissible limit what you do?
Person- If the emitted gases are more than the permissible limits then we tell the owner of the vehicle to take his vehicle for service and then saving the environment by reducing pollution.

VISIT TO PETROL PUMP
To create awareness among toddlers a visit to the petrol pump was arranged by ABC Public school on 15th December 2018. We reached there at 12 pm. When the students reached there they were first told about fuel and how it helps the car in moving. Then students were shown how the fuel is filled in cars and bikes. After the students were shown from where the air in tires and filled and what is pollution check. Children were informed about the hazards of pollution. Students were very keen to have information and cross-questioned with the owner. It was a fun educational trip.
