Explanation:

The people among the world need to unite to work as one to conquer pollution problems, especially because the fact is that humans are at fault. Governments worldwide are a key opponent in reducing all forms of pollution. The government’s main job is to keep the public informed of its strides towards reaching a healthy and natural environment for its people. Government programs should promote recycling and raise public awareness of the pollution threats our world is currently facing. Nearly 34% of waste sent to a landfill is recyclable, which only means many people are failing to recycle a great amount of what they consume. The government needs to step up, take action and educate its people about the problems polluting the plant causes including the solutions to prevent further rises in pollution rates. Environmental programs should be created such as local stores could collect batteries and bottles and send them to recycling companies. If all of the world’s recyclable waste was actually being recycled, the amount of waste send to landfills would be reduced by 34%. Over 85% of Americans have access to curbside or drop off recycling programs. The recycling trucks should collect before the trash companies collect, thus allowing the recycling companies more time to collect greater amounts of recyclable items. Recyclable items include paper, plastics, aluminum, fabrics, carpeting, wood, glass, cardboard and the list continues. To check if an item is recyclable or not go to your local recycling company’s website. If every American recycled one tenth of their newspapers 25 million trees would be saved each year.

In the current day in era, a large percentage of the items found in the stores are produced and packaged in non-recyclable material. A large percent of the worlds waste is sent to landfills weather the waste material is recyclable or not. By creating more products from reusable materials business could save money and head one step closer in the direction of reducing pollution. Allowing consumers to purchase items they can recycle would improve the economy. If large amounts of producer’s items are recycled, that same producer will be able to reuse the material and reduce its company’s expenses by not purchasing more raw materials.

In the past decade more people have an increasing amount of people have emerged taking notice of the world’s pollution problem. Due to the governments, its organizations and new research, effects of pollution have sparked a new “go green” movement among people. In 2010 paper recycling increased more than 85% since 1990 because of an increase in public awareness. Recycling ultimately leads to a health society and environment.

The EPA is one of many great organizations that promote useful use of the earth’s resources and the improvement of the environment. EPA stands for Environmental Protection Agency and its main objective is to maintain ongoing research and preserve land for animals and to clean the environment from human destruction. The EPA assists many similar organizations as well. When the EPA assists smaller environmental organizations more environmental improvement is made. Informing the public of the environment status and what is best for its well being is one of the EPA’s jobs well done. By raising awareness more people participate in EPA run programs that clean up the environment along with spreading knowledge of pollution solutions.
