Answer:

i) under what condition does a patient need to become a drip of glucose

A patient should be given glucose drip when he is dehydrated. Glucose drip is also given when the patient is unable to take his food orally. Dehydration occurs when water and electrolytes are lost during diarrhea. 'Drip of Glucose' can be referred either to Intravenous infusion of Dextrose (which is a biologically active form of Glucose) or to any Intravenous Fluid. As glucose is the necessary substance to provide energy, it should be given as drips until the person is able to recover from illness completely and eat his food without difficulty.

ii) till when does a patient need to given glucose

Glucose drip should be given to the patient till normal blood glucose level is restored, the patient is able to do movement properly and he or she should be encouraged to eat food which give instant energy. Even after taking glucose intravenously, glucose level may go down if proper diet is not maintained.

iii) how does the glucose help the patient to recover

glucose is the simplest form of carbohydrate i.e. energy. In a healthy body, after eating,  food breaks down into smaller form in order to release energy. but in unhealthy body, this breakage process gets slower as digestion  affected due to illness. Glucose instantly mixes in blood inside body as it is already is in ready to soluble form and releases energy to recover.
