we will proceed by successive magnification process. we know that
i.e., in the interval [ 3 . 4 ] and Have a rough idea where it is located on the number line.To get a more accurate estimation of the representation , we divide the interval [ 3 .4 ] into 10 equal parts and look [ 3 .4 , 3.8 ] through a magnifying glass and realize that 3.765 lies between 3.7 and 3. 8 , i.e., in the interval.....

[ 3.7 , 3.8 ] .now we may imagine that each of the new internal. [ 3, 3.1 ] , [ 3.1 , 3.2 ] , [ 3.2 , 3.3 ]..........
