REQUIREMENTS: A4 Sheet, Colour papers
● The student will choose any one real life solid object like a
matchbox (representing a Cuboid), pen stand (representing an open
cylinder), birthday cap (representing cone), etc..
● Prepare a Net of the solid, which you consider, using colour paper.
● Stick it in an A4 Sheet.
● Measure and write its dimensions (length / breadth / height/
radius)
● Find out the Lateral (or Curved) Surface Area, Total Surface Area
and Volume of the solid shape considered.
