preeti's rank =37+8= 45
let the no. of students in the class be x
then preeti's rank from bottom = (x-45)+1

(x-45)+1=37
x-45+1 = 37
x-44 = 37
x= 44+37= 81
let the no. of students in the class be x
then preeti's rank from bottom = (x-45)+1

(x-45)+1=37
x-45+1 = 37
x-44 = 37
x= 44+37= 81
