The days vivek was absent = (30-y)

Now , According to the question

100y - [10 ( 30-y ) ] = 1900

100y - [ 300 - 10y ] = 1900

100y -300 + 10y = 1900

110y = 1900+ 300

110y= 2200

y = 2200/110

y=220/11

y=20

So, Vivek worked 20 days in the month of April and didn't came to work for 10 days .
