Solution :-

As per the given data ,

  • Distance covered by vivek = 60 km
  • Time taken = 1.5 hrs

we know that ,

➜ S = D / t

here ,

  • S = speed
  • D = distance
  • t = time taken

➜ S = 60 / 1.5

➜ S = 600 / 15

➜ S = 40km / hr

Now ,

  • Speed = 40 km / hr ( keeping the speed constant )
  • Time taken = 4 hrs

we know that ,

➜ S = D' / t '

On rearranging ,

➜ D' = S x t'

➜ D' = 40 x 4

➜ D' = 160 km

The distance covered by the cyclist in 4 hrs is 160 km
