vivek is twice old as his cousin ruchi is now. If vivek is also 3 years older then ruchi ,find their ages

let the age of ruchi be x
and,age of vivek be 2x(vivek is twice old as ruchi)
age of vivek =x+3(given vivek is also 3 years older then ruchi)
so, 2x=x+3(both are vivek age)
then, x=3
hence the present age of ruchi is x=3 years
and age of vivek =2x=(2×3)=6.

=>  v = 2r



vivek is also 3 years older then ruchi

v = 3+r

now,

2r = 3+r

=>2r - r = 3

=>r = 3

since y = 2r

=> 2*3

=>6 

vivke is 6 and ruchi is 3
