Given :-

• Viven cycled the field = 6 times

• Total distance covered by Viven = 3000 m

• Length of the field = 160 m

To find :-

✧ The breadth of the rectangular field

Solution :-

Let the breadth of the rectangular field be b.

Then,

Perimeter of the field (P) = 2(Length + Breadth)

P = 2(160 m + b)

P = 320 m + 2b

Viven cycled 6 times around the field = 6 × Perimeter of the field

=> 6 rounds = 6 × (320 m + 2b)

=> 3000 m = 1920 m + 12b

=> 3000 m - 1920 m = 12b

=> 1080 m = 12b

$\tt{ = > \dfrac{1080 \: m}{12} = b} \\ \\ \tt{ = > 90 \: m = b}$
