Vocational education has been existing in the human history. It is a system of education where students go through skills acquisition. In our ancient history, men used their discoveries to advance their world. These are so unique that these skills are later transferred to the other people especially their offsprings.
When we look at the education curricula we have now, most of them are drafted in the 1800s. They have been systematically arranged in a well-organized manner to be able to carry along the ideas, theories, concepts, and laws of the modern education system.
Vocational education like in the ancient era contributed immensely to the production of farming tools we have inherited today. It has made our ancestors able to hunt and to safeguard themselves because many of them built self-defense tools. The bows and arrows many of them were made by skilled blacksmiths, who transferred their talents from generation to generation.
When we look at this modern era of human existence. Vocational education has tremendously contributed to the improvement of the human resource capacity of the people. It has increased skills acquisition and has reduced poverty because their graduands come out skilled with many occupations which enables them to fend for themselves. They have already gotten this skills to move their life forward.
