simplifying we get

so let the radii of the spheres be 3x and 4x

given 3x + 4x = 28

                 7x = 28

                    x = \frac{28}{7}

radius of first sphere = 3x =3×4 = 12

radius of other sphere = 4x = 4×4 = 16
