Answer:

Sakurajima (also spelled Sakurashima or Sakura-jima, 桜島 in Japanese) volcano in southern Kyushu is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, and one of the few that are at present in constant (persistant) activity.

Volcanic activity includes spewing ash very far and sending rocks flying into populated areas, causing damage to infrastructure and residents. The ash also damages agricultural land used for the country's two biggest crops (tea and rice).

“Mount Fuji is on standby for the next eruption,” said Hiroki Kamata, a professor of volcanology at Kyoto University. More than 300 years, he pointed out, have elapsed since the last eruption in 1707, an eerily long silence that surpasses the previous interval of around 200 years.

I think this answer would help you.☺️✌
