The International System of Units, known by the international abbreviation SI in all languages and sometimes pleonastically as the SI system, is the modern form of the metric system and the world's most widely used system of measurement.

Prove that volt/meter=Newton/Coulomb and name physical quantity.

(i) We have to prove that

\frac{volt}{meter}=\frac{Joule}{coluomb}

Taking L.H.S

=\frac{volt}{meter}

we know that

\therefore volt=Joule/coulomb

Then,

=\frac{Joule/coulomb}{meter}

=\frac{Joule}{coulmomb}\times \frac{1}{meter}

But, we also know that

\therefore Joule=Netwon -meter

Then,

=\frac{Newton-meter}{coulomb}\times \frac{1}{meter}

=\frac{Newton-meter}{coulomb}\times \frac{meter}{meter}

=\frac{Newton}{coulomb}

=R.H.S

Hence, L.H.S=R.H.S proved
