Hey mate❤️

Volume of 1 mole of any gas at NTP = 22.4L

This means 1 mole of CO2 at NTP is also =22.4L

44 gm of CO2 ( 1 mole) = 22.4L

So,

1gm of CO2 = 22.4÷44 L

4.4gm of Co2= (22.4÷44)×4.4 L

=2.24 L

Hope it helps mate❤️

The volume of 4.4 gm of CO2 is 2.24 L

Explanation:

We are given that:

  • Mass of CO2 = 4.4 gm
  • To Find : Volume of CO2 at NTP = "V" = ?

We know that:

The volume of 1 mole of any gas at NTP = 22.4 L

1 mole of CO2 at NTP is also = 22.4 L

44 gm of CO2 = 1 mole

Volume of 1 mole of CO2 = = 22.4 L

Therefore,

1 gm of CO2 = 22.4 / 44 L

4.4 gm of CO2 = [ 22.4 / 44 ] × 4.4 L

= 2.24 L

Thus the volume of 4.4 gm of CO2 is 2.24 L
