Hello,
we calculate the side of cube:
L=∛V=∛343=7 cm
we calcluate the total surface area of cube:
At=6L²=6×7²=4×49= 294 cm²

The surface area is 294 cm²

Given,

The volume of a cube = 343 cm³

To find,

The surface area of the cube.

Solution,

The surface area of the cube is 294 cm².

We can easily solve this problem using the formulas of volume and surface area of the cube.

We know that in a cube all the equal, unlike a cuboid that has a length, breadth and height.

The volume of cube = side³

The volume of a cube = 343 cm³

side³ = 343 cm³

side = cube root 343

side = 7 cm

The surface area of the cube (SA) = 6×side²

SA = 6 × (7)² [Putting the value of side]

SA = 6×49

SA = 294 cm²

Hence, the surface area of the cube will be 294 cm².

(In the cube, the units of volume are always in cubes as the side is multiplied three times and in surface area, it is always in squares as the side is multiplied twice.)
