Question ::-

Volume of a cubical box is 216 {m}^{3}. Find the length of the side of the box?

Given ::-

  • Volume of cube = 216 {m}^{3}

To find ::-

  • Side of cube ?

Formula used ::-

 :  \: ⟼ \:  \: volume \:  =  {(side)}^{3}

Solution ::-

 :  \: ⟼ \:  \: volume \:  =  {(side)}^{3}

 :  \: ⟼ \:  \: 216 \:  =  {(side)}^{3}

 :  \: ⟼ \:  \:  \ \sqrt[3]{216}   \:  = side

 :  \: ⟼ \:  \:  6  \:  = side

Hence , the side of cubical box = 6m

More about it ::-

(1). volume of cube = S × S × S (s = side)

(2). Surface area of cube = {6a}^{2}

(3). Lateral surface area = {4a}^{2}
