Let height be h, then
Volume = 3080 cm ; Radius = 7 cm ; Let π = 22/7
πr²h = 3080
22/7 × 7 × 7 × h = 3080
h = 3080/22 × 7
h = 3080/154
h = 20 cm

CSA of Right Circular Cylinder = 2πrh
= 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 20
= 44 × 20
= 880 cm² (Ans)

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Curved surface area of the cylinder is 880 sq.cm

● Explanation -

# Given -

V = 3080 cm^3

r = 7 cm

# Solution -

The curved surface area of the cylinder -

CSA = πr^2.h

3080 = 22/7 × 7^2 × h

3080 = 154 × h

h = 3080 / 154

h = 20 cm

Curved surface area of the cylinder is -

CSA = 2πrh

CSA = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 20

CSA = 880 cm^2

Hence, curved surface area of the cylinder is 880 sq.cm.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
