Answer: 8 feet, 6 feet, 4 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the length, breadth and height are given, the tank is in the form of a cuboid.

Let

  • Length = 4x
  • Breadth = 3x
  • Height = 2x

Volume of a cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

➥ 192 ft³ = (4x)(3x)(2x)

➞ 192 = 24 x³

➞ x³ = 192 ÷ 24

➝ x³ = 8

➝ x = ∛8

x = 2 feet

Now, for finding the length, breadth and height:

  1. Length = 4x = 4(2) = 8 feet
  2. Breadth = 3x = 3(2) = 6 feet
  3. Height = 2x = 2(2) = 4 feet

Know more:

TSA of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

LSA of cuboid = 2h(l + b)

where l is length, b is breadth, h is height.
