volume of an object is 20cm3 and the mass in 50g. density of water is 1 gcm-3 . will the object float on water or sink in water?

The object with mass of 50 g along with volume of 20 cm3 with density of water being equal to 1 gm/cm3 will definitely sink.

The reason is that the density of the object is more than that of water.

Gravitational force will act on all objects in an equal manner.
