Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Where, r = radius of the cylinder

            h = height of the cylinder

Now, we will put the values and find the answer.

    πr²h = 308 cm³

    $\frac{22}{7}$ × r² × 7 = 308

   r² = $\frac{308.7}{22.7}$

   r² = $\frac{2156}{154}$

   r² = 14

   r = 3.74 m

The lateral surface area of cylinder is = 2πrh

 = 2 × $\frac{22}{7}$ × 3.7  × 7

= 162.8  

The lateral surface area of cylinder is 163 cm²

The total surface area of the cylinder = Lateral Surface Area + 2πr²
