The curved surface area of the cylinder is 2πrh:

but it is given that c.s.a of cylinder is 1320 cm^2:

therefore::

2πrh = 1320

2×22/7×rh = 1320

h = 1320×7/22×1/2

h = 210/r -------------------- (i)

then the volume of the cylinder is πr²h

but it is given that volume of cylinder is 3960 cm^3.

therefore::

πr²h = 3960

22/7×r²×210/r =3960

r²/r = 3960×7/22×210

r = 6cm.

Now, putting this value of r in equation (i), we get::

h = 210/r

= 210/6

= 35 cm.

Hence, the radius is 6 cm and height is 35 cm .

rajakumar921: soon as possible
zelenazhaovaqueen: kk...please wait
rajakumar921: soon I am going out of town
zelenazhaovaqueen: see..... 22/7×210/r×r^2=3960
zelenazhaovaqueen: then, r^2×660/r=3960
zelenazhaovaqueen: then , when u will take 660, then
zelenazhaovaqueen: when u will take 660 to RHS
zelenazhaovaqueen: then , divide 3960/660 then u will get 6
zelenazhaovaqueen: so the radius will be 6 cm
zelenazhaovaqueen: i hope u understood it friend ^-^
