Volume of density bottle is 20 mL. and mass of the density bottle is 50 g when it is empty. and mass of the density bottle filled with liquid-A is 125 g. and mass of the density bottle filled with liquid-B is 175 g. what is the relative density of the liquid-A with respect to liquid-B?

Given : Volume of density bottle = 20 mL Mass of the empty density bottle = 50 g
Mass of the density bottle filled with liquid-A = 125 g
Mass of the density bottle filled with liquid-B = 175 g
To find : The relative density of liquid-A with respect to liquid-B
Solution : We know that,
• Density = mass/volume
• Mass of liquid-A only = 125 - 50 g = 75g
• Mass of liquid-B only = 175 - 50 g = 125g
• Relative density = mass of liquid-A olny / mass of liquid-B only
• Relative density = 75/125
= 3/5
= 0.6
So The relative density of the liquid-A with respect to liquid-B is 0.6.
